The community is nice...it's a "conservation community" which means they have to leave a certain percentage undeveloped and covered with trees. This lot is on a cul-de-sac and has some nice woods behind (just enough to cover the community behind us....in the summer it will be even more private).
The building company is a Christian organization and they have signs up saying they won't work on Sundays! They have won a couple of awards for best houses, so we're pretty confident they'd do a good job. If we sign the contract in the next couple of weeks, our house would be ready by April.

Yep, I remember your pond! We took baths in it during Hurricane Hugo. :D The dirt guy got a little too enthusiastic...which was perfect, because it was supposed to be a basement lot, but he added too much dirt. Just right for us!
I actually do like Jeffrey's beard. It's not a full beard, kind of the "Amish look" :) I think it makes his jaw look more square. So, is Willie trying to talk you into something? :)
