Laura's shower
I've been a bad blogger so trying to catch up on some events and post some pictures. Over the 4th weekend, we also had a baby shower for Laura. She and Will were sick so they couldn't come, but we had a fun get-together anyway, and afterward Jeff & I brought over the presents and had a nice, low-key time together opening presents and shelling peas. It was so nice having everyone together in one place during our visit. Chuck was in Sumter too w/ his friend Sarah. It's funny how growing up you just want those boys to go away and leave you alone, and once you're grown, you value any time with them as precious!

actually grammy plans and provides for it all. we of course get her a thank you gift! i love cousin camp and it helps since some cousins live out of state. the kids are having a blast! i know your family is close and i can see you guys doing it! well worth the time and energy. hey, i am sure you noticed the face painting right? well you can tell that was my part. otherwise i am the photographer. please tell me how you blur everything except the person in focus????
It's just the camera...Jeff's using a fancy-schmancy one. It's sometimes hard to make it focus on the right thing, though. The face painting was amazing...I didn't know you were such an artist. That was one of the first things I noticed!
